Safety is #1 Before Fun

We know your pup is precious cargo and you deserve the peace of mind of knowing they are navigating busy city streets safely. With Gussy & Co you can relax knowing the safety of our pack mates and pack leaders is our number one focus. Period. There are many ways we ensure pack safety; our comprehensive and extensive Pack Leader Training, Pet First Aid training, appropriate pack sizes, compatible dog personalities, and adjusting the walk times during inclement weather. But our most helpful tool in ensuring safety is our custom-made safety clips. By using a collar, harness, and safety clip on each and every dog in our pack, we are ensuring they are completely secure and are able to prevent any collar from slipping.

We are Positive

While our number one priority is safety, number two is fun! Our Pack Leaders keep the fun meter running high with plenty of belly rubs, elevator head scratches, and of course treats! But in all seriousness (because we are often very silly) we follow a positive reinforcement style of dog walking. No punishment or force here! Just love, affection, and praise.

Our Team is Reliable

We are a team and when you join our pack, you gain access to all of our amazing, expertly trained Pack Leaders! This means that when your Pack Leader is sick or on holiday, we simply have another wonderful member of our team step in to help! You will never be inconvenienced by us, and will never hear us tell you we aren’t able to fulfill our commitment to your walking needs.

Small Pack Size

Our packs are specially curated on a daily basis to ensure maximum compatibility. We know that not everyone gets along, and hey, that’s ok! We take the time to ensure all dogs in the pack are comfortable with each other, making their pack walk relaxed and fun, just the way it should be! Our packs will never exceed 5 dogs and our most common pack sizes are 3 or 4 dogs.

Booking is made easy with our App

Our clients have the pleasure of receiving a feedback email/app notification with every walk. Most clients say it’s their favorite part of the day, especially when it comes complete with a picture of their smiling pup! Our online booking system & smartphone app makes scheduling, canceling, and invoicing accessible to clients 24 hours a day. Superior customer service is our priority and you can be sure that Kait, Kirsten, and our team are here to communicate with you on a daily basis.

Pack Walk Transitioning for Puppies & Rescue

Making the transition from private puppy visits to pack walks can be a big adjustment for puppies. We start this process slowly, first introducing one dog to their puppy visits and building on that, gradually working our way up to a larger, longer pack walk. We know that expecting too much, too soon, from a puppy will only result in frustration and sometimes chaos! This slow transition is also used when we welcome a rescue dog into our pack. The big city can often be overwhelming for a new rescue, so ensuring they are comfortable and confident in a small pack is key to successfully transitioning into a larger pack.

What are your hours of operation?

Our hours of operation are 10:00 am-5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are based by availability only.
Our before after’s and after hours are based on availability. Our before hours are from 8:00 am-10:00 am or 4:00 pm-8:00 pm for an additional charge.

How do I schedule my services?

You can schedule your walks through our software (either on your computer or on our mobile app) which will be provided to you if you wish to join Fit Dog Club Toronto Inc.
The software we use to schedule services is very easy to use, and you will be taught in person how to book a service at the initial meet and greet.

How will you store my key information?

All keys are stored in a secure location, in a locked safe.
Each key is labeled only with the pet’s name, and the client address list is kept in a completely separate location to maintain confidentiality.
